• Service Preferences: template choices, design settings, draft data, edits, and customization preferences.

When you visit or use FuneralFolio, we and our providers may collect:

• Device and Browser Information: browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, viewport, language, time zone, platform, cookie status, pixel ratio, touch capabilities, and similar technical details.
• Usage Data: pages visited, clicks or taps, scroll activity, navigation paths, referrers, session activity, checkout starts, purchases, and feature usage.

Memorial pages, obituary pages, guestbook entries, donation notes, photos, videos, service details, locations, and tributes may become public when you publish them or when visitors submit them to a public memorial page. Public content may include names, photos, dates, family relationships, service locations, obituary text, guest messages, and other information provided by you or visitors.

Public pages may be viewed by others, shared, copied, screenshotted, or indexed by search engines unless they are unpublished, access-restricted, removed, or configured otherwise. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you publish is accurate and that you have permission to share it.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve FuneralFolio services.
• Create, store, edit, publish, and deliver memorial pages, obituary content, printable products, videos, guestbooks, and donation-related features.
• Process payments, fulfill orders, send receipts, and handle refunds or support issues.
• Send transactional, service, reminder, abandoned-cart, follow-up, product, and marketing communications, subject to your choices and applicable law.
• Analyze site performance, measure advertising effectiveness, understand usage, and improve the customer experience.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
• Debug errors, respond to support requests, and maintain reliable service.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use memorial content you create for unrelated commercial purposes.

We use analytics, advertising measurement, error monitoring, performance monitoring, and session diagnostic tools, including Plausible Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads/Google tags, Microsoft Advertising/UET, and Sentry.

These tools may collect device information, IP-derived location, page views, click or tap behavior, scroll activity, referral information, browser information, session diagnostics, error details, checkout starts, purchases, and other conversion events. Some providers may use cookies, pixels, scripts, local storage, or similar technologies and may process information under their own privacy policies.

We use this information to understand site performance, improve the product experience, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and measure advertising effectiveness. Microsoft Clarity and Sentry may receive limited session diagnostic information; we configure these tools to support troubleshooting and product improvement, not to collect payment card details.

5. AI-Assisted Features

If you use AI-assisted features, we may send text, instructions, photos, or other content you provide to AI service providers such as OpenAI and Google Gemini to generate, edit, summarize, parse, moderate, or enhance memorial materials. This may include obituary generation, text shortening, information extraction, guestbook moderation, photo or portrait enhancement, and related creative or support features.

You should not submit content that you do not have permission to process or share. We do not authorize AI providers to use your memorial content for our unrelated marketing purposes.

6. Emails and Communications

We may send transactional, service, reminder, abandoned-cart, follow-up, and marketing emails related to your memorial, checkout, products, donation features, or related FuneralFolio and Feel Tomorrow services. Our email provider may process delivery, open, click, bounce, unsubscribe, and spam-report events so we can deliver messages, honor unsubscribe requests, troubleshoot issues, and improve communications.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We may still send transactional or service messages where necessary to provide the service, complete orders, respond to support requests, or comply with law.

• Session Diagnostics and Error Monitoring: Microsoft Clarity, Sentry, and similar tools used to debug, improve, and secure the service.
• Donation and Fundraising Partners: Pledge/Pledgeling or similar partners when you use donation or fundraiser features.
