Dog obituary example
Bailey, a golden retriever with a white muzzle and one ear that never quite stood up, passed peacefully at home on March 4, surrounded by her people. She came to the Millers as a twelve-week-old puppy from a rescue in Austin and immediately appointed herself head of security, greeting every delivery driver with a bark and then a toy. Known as Bear, Bay-Bay, and the Supervisor, she never let a meal be cooked unobserved. She loved peanut butter, fresh snow, and the 7 a.m. walk around the lake, and she once removed an entire Thanksgiving turkey from the counter without a trace of guilt. Bailey leaves behind her humans Sarah and Tom, kids Lily and Noah, her cat brother Oliver, and Biscuit from next door. In her memory, the family asks that donations be made to Austin Pets Alive. Good girl, Bailey. Go find the squirrels.
