It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Zelda Pearl Posey, whose vibrant spirit left this world unexpectedly on June 12, 2026, at her home in Tucson, Arizona. Born on February 4, 2026, in the warmth of Tucson's embrace, Zelda's brief yet impactful presence enriched the lives of all who were fortunate to encounter her. Zelda was the cherished daughter of Aynsley Pearl Posey and Steven Ray Posey. In her short time with us, Zelda brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love, captivating the hearts of her family and friends with her radiant innocence and boundless curiosity. Her bright eyes and gentle smile were a beacon of hope and happiness, lighting up every room she entered. Zelda is survived by her twin brother Verso Ray Posey, older brother Lyrik Hiram-Rocky Posey, Darrin and Anita Rector (paternal grandparents), Christopher Posey (Uncle), Danielle Posey (Aunt) and her son Michael Palmorez and Catherine Hess (maternal grandma). Though her journey was brief, Zelda's legacy is profound, as she now joins the embrace of her predeceased family members: her paternal grandfather, Daniel Ray Posey; grandparents Bobbie Ray Posey and Ethel Diane Posey; her aunt, Sharon Posey; cousin, Dustin Vega; paternal grandparent, David Ray Tegarden; Aunt, Lisa Terrell; Uncle Darren Tegarden; and Maternal grandparent, Gilbert Avery. Their spirits undoubtedly welcome her with open arms, providing her with eternal love and protection. A service to honor Zelda's bright and beautiful life will be held on June 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Evergreen Mortuary, Cemetery and Cremation, located at 3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ. Family, friends, and all those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Zelda's brief but cherished life are warmly invited to attend.
