Zelda's pursuit of knowledge and dedication to her work led her to successful careers with Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia, and the United Parcel Service, where she retired with a legacy of dedication and service. Zelda was a beacon of love and strength to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Emmett and Lela, and her dear sister, Sandra Vanessa Timmons, whose memories she cherished deeply. Zelda is survived by her loving daughters, Amber and Amanda Amaya Henderson, who were the light of her life. She was also blessed with the joy and laughter of two treasured grandchildren, who adored their grandmother's warmth and wisdom. Her spirit lives on in her three devoted sisters: Rev. Dr. Deborah Timmons, Cheryl Timmons, and Audrey Timmons Story. Together, they shared an unbreakable bond of sisterhood that brought comfort and joy to each other's lives. Zelda's life was a testament to her unwavering faith, compassion, and the love she extended to all those who crossed her path. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Zelda's honor to a charity of one's choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
