It is with profound sadness and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Zachary Grauch, who left this world too soon on October 16, 2026. Born on November 12, 2009, in Simi Valley, California, Zachary was the beloved son of John and Mary Grauch. Zachary was an extraordinary young soul, known affectionately for his humorous and kind-hearted nature. He possessed a unique ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him, even as he occasionally embraced the art of being playfully annoying. His knack for “pissing people off” was always underpinned by his intrinsic kindness and genuine care for others. Despite the hurdles he faced, Zachary lived life with a passion that was evident in his many interests. He was a talented singer and a vibrant member of The Gathered, a folk trio where his voice resonated with warmth and spirit. Zachary found joy in singing, dancing, and performing in theater and choir, where his energy lit up every stage. Though his academic journey was not without its challenges, Zachary’s perseverance saw him through to the end of his sophomore year. While he was denied the opportunity for military service, he never allowed this to dampen his enthusiasm for life or his dreams. A service celebrating Zachary’s life will be held on October 17, 2026, at 10:38 AM at Grace School, located at 2088 Belmar Ct. Family, friends, and all whose lives Zachary touched are invited to gather and remember the remarkable young man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the organization dedicated to giving him more life, as a tribute to Zachary’s vibrant and enduring spirit. Zachary may have been the first in his family to leave this world, but his legacy of laughter, love, and song will resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. As his family lovingly reflects, his was a life lived with a spirit that shone brightly, and that spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who remember him.
