March 15, 1934 — March 18, 1976

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Zach Richard Hope, beloved husband, father, and dedicated community servant, who left this world on March 18, 1976, just days after celebrating his 42nd birthday. Zach was born on March 15, 1934, in the beautiful landscapes of Utah, where he spent the entirety of his life enriching the lives of those around him with his kindness and respect. Zach's early years were marked by a deep commitment to education and service. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1952, where he not only excelled academically but also left a lasting impression on his classmates with his unwavering integrity and affable nature. His years in school laid the foundation for a life dedicated to the service of his community. In 1954, Zach married the love of his life, Amy Hope. Their union was one of deep love and mutual respect, a partnership that became the cornerstone of their family. Together, they were blessed with three beautiful children: Thomas, now 17, Sabrina, now 15, and Skylar, now 6. Zach's love for his children was boundless, and he often spoke of them with immense pride, cherishing every moment spent with them. His family was the light of his life, and his devotion to them was evident to all who knew him. Zach chose a noble path in life, dedicating his career to law enforcement as a police officer. He approached his work with a strong sense of duty and compassion, always striving to make the world a safer, better place for everyone. His colleagues remember him as a man of great courage and integrity, someone who could always be relied upon in times of need. Outside of his professional life, Zach's greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father who loved his children deeply, often spending his free time engaged in activities that brought smiles to their faces. Whether it was helping with homework or embarking on weekend adventures, Zach's presence was a source of comfort and joy for his family. Tragically, Zach's life was cut short under heartbreaking circumstances. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of kindness, love, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Zach is survived by his cherished wife, Amy, and their beloved children, Thomas, Sabrina, and Skylar. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the community for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. As we remember Zach Richard Hope, let us celebrate a life well-lived, a life that touched so many with compassion and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire us all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Zach's memory, continuing his legacy of service and kindness. A private family service will be held to honor his life and contributions. Zach will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
