In Loving Memory

Yolonda Fay Jones
March 20, 1957 — October 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yolonda Fay Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, and friend, who left us on October 15, 2026. Born on March 20, 1957, in Pennsylvania, Yolonda was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her.
Yolonda was the daughter of Earnest Riggins and Susie Jones. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest, and is survived by her devoted partner, Louis Antonio Caez; her cherished children, Denzel Caez, Holley Caez, and Michelle and Pamula Warren; her loving mother, Susie; and her treasured grandchildren, of whom she had six, each a source of immense pride and joy to her.
Yolonda dedicated her life to serving others through her work and her compassionate spirit. Her career spanned several roles where her caring nature shined brightly. She worked in food services for the Hackensack New Jersey Public Schools, where she nourished countless students with both meals and smiles. As a crossing guard, Yolonda ensured the safety of children with her watchful eye and gentle demeanor, always greeting them with words of encouragement as they started their day. Her nurturing qualities were further demonstrated in her work in home health care and as a babysitter, where she provided comfort and care to those who needed it most.
Above all, Yolonda was a woman devoted to her family. She found immense joy in the company of her loved ones, and her home was always a place of laughter, warmth, and welcome. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took great pleasure in watching them grow and thrive.
Yolonda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion and the difference one person can make in the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Yolonda's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to honor her lifelong commitment to helping others.
