With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Yalonda Bradley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on August 12, 2026. Born on October 14, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee, Yalonda brought light and love into the lives of everyone she encountered. Yalonda was the cherished daughter of Robert and Alberta Pollard, who preceded her in death, alongside her siblings, Robert, Greg, and Kimberley. She was a loving sister whose memory will be forever cherished by her surviving siblings. A proud graduate of Fairley High School in 1989, Yalonda had a strong work ethic that saw her begin her career at KFC while still attending school. She later transitioned to a dedicated role at Johnson & Johnson through Excel, where she made a lasting impact with her diligence and commitment. Yalonda was a devoted member of the Mt. Joyner Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness shone brightly. Her participation in church activities exemplified her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to her community. On September 30, 2017, Yalonda married the love of her life, Rexcey Bowers. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. Her children, Brittany, Eric, and Bryant, were her pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through them. Yalonda was also the doting grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren, including Tyler, Leah, and Carson, who brought immense joy to her life. A service to honor Yalonda's remarkable life will be held on August 29, 2026, at Mt. Joyner Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of her life and the love she shared with all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Yalonda's memory to a charitable organization of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Yalonda Bradley will be remembered for her heartwarming smile, her unwavering faith, and her boundless love for her family and community.
