Willie Turner, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026. Born on December 24, 1956, in Washington, Georgia, Willie was a beacon of love and warmth to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Raised by his devoted parents, Raleigh and Adeline Turner, Willie grew up in a home filled with kindness and the values of hard work and compassion. These principles guided him throughout his life, as he touched the hearts of many with his generous spirit and unwavering support. Willie was preceded in death by his cherished family members, Della and Beatrice. He is survived by his loving children, Deann and Wesley, who carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. Willie was the proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom will forever hold their memories of him close to their hearts. A service to celebrate and honor Willie’s life will be held on August 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove in Rayle, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to gather to remember the joy and wisdom Willie shared with all those around him. In remembrance of Willie Turner, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Willie’s lifelong commitment to helping others. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Piedmont for the compassionate care and support provided during Willie’s final days.
