In loving memory, we gather to celebrate the life of Willie Roderick Eugene Blair, a cherished soul taken from us too soon on July 5, 2026. Born on March 31, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, Willie was a beacon of light and laughter, whose warm presence touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Willie was the beloved son of Willie Roderick Eugene Blair Senior and Miranda Faye Richardson. He shared a special bond with his younger brother, Roy Outley, and cherished memories with his niece, Kyossha Richardson, and grandmother, Sarah Bell Simpkins, all of whom predeceased him. His uncles, David Lee Richardson and Albert Richardson, along with his brother and brother-in-law, Tyrus Lindsay, also departed before him, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Willie was a devoted father to Tatiana Blair, Kyron Blair, and Sasha Jerri Blair, and a proud grandfather to Kacey Blu. His love for his family was boundless, and he leaves behind his daughters, Breshey Davis, his sisters, Lillie Payne and Wanda Richardson, and a close-knit family including his niece, Renasha Steward, Breanna Ferguson, and nephew, Kamari Craig. Willie’s family extended to his uncles, Calvin and Brian Richardson, his aunt Angela Jackson, and cousin Dawnaeshae Johnson. He was also blessed with great-niece Sandy Richards and great-nephews Cordale and Royal Vercher, along with a multitude of cousins, family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A graduate of Manuel Arts High School in 1998, Willie was a man of many talents and interests. In 2004, he founded the Hot Shot Car Club, a testament to his passion for automobiles. He was employed for many years with James Janitorial, where he took pride in his work as a janitor. Willie had a deep love for writing took an earnest interest in studying the Bible. He also an interest in classic cars. His dream was to one day open his own vehicle detailing business, a goal he pursued with great enthusiasm.
Willie was a man of love and commitment, shared with his partners Demesha Johnson, Lashawn Owens, and Kiontra Mennifee. His spirit was one of kindness and generosity, qualities that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Willie's life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home, located at 3443 W Manchester Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90305. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of a remarkable man whose life, though cut short, was filled with love and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Willie’s spirit of giving and compassion.
As we say goodbye to Willie, we hold onto the memories and the love he shared with us all. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
