Willie Mae Allen

April 21, 1947 — April 15, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Willie Mae Allen, a cherished soul, who departed this life peacefully in her sleep on April 15, 2026, just shy of her 79th birthday. Born on April 21, 1947, in the heart of Connecticut, Willie Mae was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Willie Mae was the beloved daughter of the late Willie Allen, Jr. and Agnes Stephens-Allen. Though her parents have preceded her in death, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and faith that will forever be remembered by her surviving family—her dear cousins, Sherry and Penny, and her cherished circle of friends, Mamie, DeeDee Washington, Christopher Luwaan, and a multitude of her PDs (Precious Daughters) and PSs (Precious Sons), as she lovingly called them. A woman of unwavering faith, Willie Mae dedicated her life to serving Jehovah, and she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her devotion to her faith was evident in every aspect of her life, from her work at Pain College to her heartfelt interactions with everyone she met. Whether through car witnessing, letter writing, or simply conversing with those who delivered her groceries, Willie Mae was passionate about sharing the message of Jehovah God and His son, Jesus Christ. Willie Mae was special and unique, a woman who had an extraordinary ability to make anyone feel cherished. She was known for her thoughtful gestures, often giving out special thank you cards adorned with scriptures, a testament to her love for the Bible. Among her favorite scriptures was Ruth 1:2, which she often shared as a source of inspiration and comfort. A service to honor and celebrate the life of Willie Mae Allen will be held on April 21, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 1990 Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904. On what would have been her 79th birthday, we will gather to remember a life well-lived and a spirit that touched so many. In this time of mourning, we invite all who knew and loved Willie Mae to join us in celebrating the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Her family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. As Willie Mae always believed, "Love is the greatest bond, and it will continue to connect us until we meet again." May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
