August 26, 1958 — May 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Willie David Adams, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, on May 13, 2026. David left this world at the age of 67, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. Born in Niles, Michigan, on August 26, 1958, David was the beloved son of John and Lucretia Adams, who preceded him in death. David shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Lisa Taylor, whom he married on April 1, 1978, in a spirited ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they built a loving family and a nurturing home filled with joy and warmth. Willie is survived by his wife Lisa, their five daughters—Yoshica, Kianna, Ashley, Malaysia, and Ashiyah—his sister Vanessa, and an ever-growing family of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life. David spent nearly four decades as a dedicated truck driver, a career that not only provided for his family but also allowed him to traverse the country and collect stories that he would later share with his trademark wit and humor. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, David had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. His kindness and generosity were unmatched, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A man of many talents, David had a passion for building things for his family, leaving behind not only physical structures but also memories and lessons that will endure for generations. He loved a good action movie, where he could lose himself in the thrill of the story, and he had an undeniable love for food, savoring every meal with enthusiasm and gratitude. While the cause of his passing remains unknown, the impact of his life is clear and profound. David’s laughter, his stories, and his unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy is one of love, unity, and strength, a testament to a life well-lived. A service to honor David’s memory will be held on June 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the family house. It will be a celebration of his life, filled with the stories and laughter he so loved. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by David are invited to join in remembering and celebrating the man who meant so much to so many. Rest in peace, dear David. You will forever remain in our hearts and memories, a guiding light and a source of inspiration.
