William Michael Kennedy

Mike was a high-spirited man who had a strong love for fitness, animals, football, and Jesus. He always had time to listen and pray with people. He was born in High Point, NC on July 9th, 1957 to Darrell and Delores Kennedy. He had two twin brothers, Mark and Matt, and two younger sisters, Crystal and April. He grew up in Trinity, and used to catch a church bus because he loved learning about Jesus. As a teenager, he attended Andrews High School and was offered a football scholarship, but instead chose to join the US Army. When he got out, he began working with furniture and met his wife of 46 years, Janet Kennedy. They had two daughters, Mindy and Sara. Though he had his struggles, he truly treasured life and made it his mission to share the love of Jesus. Mike passed away on September 4th, 2026 at the age of 69, surrounded by his loving family.
