William Lynn White

William Lynn White, a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and a friend to many, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026. Born on July 19, 1966, in Sylacauga, Alabama, William was the son of Crockett Wayne White and Edna Bevels White. William was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Scott Wayne White, and his son Kevin Shane White, whose memories he treasured and held close to his heart. He married the love of his life, Carrie Sanford, with whom he shared a beautiful journey filled with countless cherished moments. He was a proud father to his sons, Christopher White, William Channon White, and Kevin Shane White, who brought immense joy to his life. William was equally devoted to his role as a grandfather, doting on his eight grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Papaw." His family was his greatest pride and joy. William is survived by his loving wife Carrie, his sons Christopher and William Channon, and his brother Phillip Dewayne White. He leaves behind a legacy through his eight grandchildren, who were the light of his life. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor William's memory.
