William Lee
May 30, 1974 — July 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William "Bill" Lee, who left us unexpectedly on July 3, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Bill was born on May 30, 1974 in Brookville, Ohio where he lived his entire life. Bill was the beloved son of Donald and Judith Lee, who have predeceased him in death, along with his cherished grandparents, cousin Thomas "Tommy" Haberstro, and uncle Thomas "Big" Haberstro.
A graduate of Northmont High School, Bill was known for his bright mind and compassionate heart which was evident in his love for animals, especially his many German Shepards he cared for over the years with love, dedication & compassion.
Bill is survived by his beloved German Shepherd, Ghost; his loving aunt, Sue Ann Haberstro; his aunt and uncle, Robert Willis and Julene Powers; his cousins, Susan Hughes and Tim Haberstro; and his extended family members, Shane Hughes, Katie Hughes, Mitchell Hughes, and Griffin Hughes.
Throughout his life, Bill was dedicated to caring for his cherished German Shepards. To know Bill was to know his dogs. Bill believed wholeheartedly in the sentiment that dogs leave permanent paw prints on our hearts, and he embodied the patience, joy, and unconditional love that our canine companions teach us.
Though Bill's time with us was far too brief, the love and memories he leaves behind will be cherished by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends
In honor of Bill's memory, the family requests that donations be made to Ohio German Shepard Rescue. A private service will take place for immediate family.
