May 30, 1974 — July 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William Lee, a cherished son, nephew, cousin, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on July 3, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital. Born on May 30, 1974, in Brookville, Ohio, William's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. William was the beloved son of Don and Judith Lee, who have predeceased him, along with his cherished grandparents, cousin Thomas Haberstro, and uncle Thomas Haberstro. His family was his anchor, and he cherished the memories and values they instilled in him, living each day with integrity and warmth. A proud graduate of Northmont High School, William was known for his bright mind and compassionate heart. His educational journey there laid the foundation for a life marked by curiosity and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. William is survived by his devoted aunt and uncle, Robert Willis and Julene Powers, as well as his loving Aunt Sue Ann Haberstro. His cousins Susan Hughes and Tim Haberstro, along with extended family members Shane Hughes, Katie Hughes, Mitchell Hughes, and Griffin Hughes, will forever hold his memory close, remembering him for his kindness, humor, and the boundless love he shared. Throughout his life, William's warmth and generosity touched many. He was a man who valued family above all else, always ready with a listening ear, a helping hand, or a hearty laugh to lift the spirits of those around him. His legacy is one of compassion and joy, marked by the countless lives he impacted with his gentle spirit. In honor of William's memory, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, reflecting his selfless nature and enduring commitment to the welfare of others. Though William's time with us was far too brief, the love and memories he leaves behind will be cherished by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life beautifully lived. May he rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, and may we find comfort in the knowledge that his love endures in the stories we share and the lives he touched.
