In Loving Memory
William Kazakevich
November 7, 1940 — May 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Kazakevich, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on November 7, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, William's life was a testament to hard work, unwavering love, and a deep commitment to those he cherished.
William was a devoted and skilled tradesman, whose hands built not only the tangible structures of our world but also the strong foundation of love and integrity within his family. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his devotion to his loved ones. To William, family was everything, and he spent his life ensuring that his children and grandchild felt secure and surrounded by love.
Preceded in death by his dear wife, Robin Roberta, who passed away in December 2008, William carried her memory with him every day. Together, they created a beautiful family, leaving behind a legacy in their three children: Ann Marie (Scott) Kershner Alger ( Maureen) Kazakevich, and Elizabeth Kazakevich. His children were his pride and joy, the lights of his life that he guided with wisdom and care.
The joy of being a grandfather brought William immense happiness, and his grandson, Noah Kershner, held a special place in his heart. William's love and lessons will continue to echo through Noah's life as a testament to the bond they shared.
William was a man who valued friendship deeply, and those who had the privilege of meeting him were touched by his warmth, generosity, and kindness. His gentle spirit and open heart left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
A special message from the family: "William will be missed by all those that met him, especially his family. His legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts."
In remembering William Kazakevich, we celebrate a life well-lived, one that was rich in love, laughter, and the simple joys of family and friendship. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
