William Judson Angle

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the peaceful passing of William Judson Angle on April 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on January 16, 1945, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, William lived a life full of love, dedication, and integrity, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. William was the beloved son of the late Mr. Oma Judson Angle and Mrs. Mathilda Josephine Richards. He was also predeceased by his dear older sister, Ruth Anne Angle Dokey. William's legacy of love and wisdom lives on through his surviving family: his devoted son, Scott Patrick Angle, and his cherished daughters, Shannon Mary Cabrera and Stacy Ann Boue. His heart and home were further blessed with six adoring grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride. A proud alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University, William earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering, a field that allowed him to blend his passion for innovation with his innate problem-solving skills. Throughout his career, he was known not only for his technical expertise but also for his unwavering commitment to excellence and mentorship. William was a cornerstone of his community, deeply involved in numerous organizations that reflected his values and dedication to service. An active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Dominic's Catholic Church and School, he also contributed his time and talents to the St. Dominic's Men's Club in New Orleans, LA. His faith and community spirit were evident in all his endeavors, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service. His family expresses their profound gratitude to the nurses and caregivers at Care Associates Hospice in New Orleans, whose kindness and support were a great comfort during William's final days. In accordance with William's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing his family and close friends to honor his life in an intimate setting. The family appreciates the understanding and respect for their desire for privacy during this time. William Judson Angle will be remembered for his warm smile, his generous spirit, and his steadfast love for his family and community. His life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of living with purpose. As we bid farewell to a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, we take solace in the countless memories we shared and the profound impact he had on our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a guiding light for all who knew and loved him.
