William Jordan Beck

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of William Jordan Beck on September 8, 2026, at his home in Bristol, Virginia. Born on August 29, 1973, in Ohio, William's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends. William, affectionately known to many as "Bill," was the beloved son of Lynn Jordan Beck and the late Jerry Mac Beck. He was predeceased by his father and his brother, Jerry Robert Beck. He leaves behind his loving mother, Lynn; brother, Jeffrey Alton Beck; uncle, Dr Ken Jordan; cousins Julie Hannon, Charlie Hannon, Joy Warren, and Ashley Rickel; and special family friends, Donna Connatser, Barbara Lowry and Eilene Partin. A proud graduate of Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, Class of 1991, Bill pursued a career that took him on many adventures as a commercial truck driver. William was a lifelong member of West Hills Baptist Church, Knoxville, TN, where he found solace and community. His commitment to service began at a young age as a dedicated member of the Knoxville Boy Scouts of America. His exceptional achievement to the rank of Eagle Scout, was recognized by a Tennessee congressman who awarded him the American flag, a testament to his hard work and dedication. Music was a profound source of joy for Bill. He was a devoted fan of Sandi Patty, collecting every album and record she ever produced. The melodies and lyrics brought him comfort and happiness, resonating deeply within his heart. William Jordan Beck will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
