Today we mourn the passing of a beloved family member, William James. William James was born in Nashville Tennessee In Loving Memory of William James William James passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family. William was the beloved husband of Mary James, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and created countless cherished memories. He was a proud father of four children and a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He was the cherished son of Brenda Smith and Jon Smith, who loved him dearly throughout his life. William will be remembered for his caring heart, unwavering support for those he loved, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Mary James; his four children; his four grandchildren; his mother, Brenda Smith; his father, Jon Smith; and many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Dale Hollow Lake, where family and friends will gather to spread William’s ashes and celebrate his life with love, memories, and remembrance. Though he is no longer with us, William’s love, strength, and kindness will never be forgotten.
