He believed in living life on his terms and loving with the full depth of his heart, a philosophy that he instilled in his beloved children, Marcella, W. Darnell, Kevin, and Jazmin. His legacy is carried forward by them, alongside the countless individuals whose lives he touched with his kindness and strength. William's wanderlust took him to places far and wide, each journey adding a new chapter to his story. His love for travel was matched by his passion for the strategic challenges of chess and the lively camaraderie of dominoes. Whether on a distant shore or at home with a chessboard or dominoes in hand, William found joy and shared it generously with those around him. Family and friends will gather to honor William's life on July 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the North Hill Community Club, located at 20827 3rd Ave S. Des Moines, WA 98198.
