William "Billy" Laflamme

William "Billy" Laflamme, a cherished soul, left this world peacefully on August 28, 2026, after courageously battling cancer. Born on August 30, 1964, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Billy's life was marked by his humor, kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. The beloved son of the late Robert H. Laflamme Sr. and Lois Laflamme, Billy grew up in a close-knit family, embodying the values they instilled in him. He graduated from Blackstone/Millville school and soon after, proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for four years, earning an honorable discharge. For 26 wonderful years, he shared his life with his partner and wife, Deanna "Dea" Laflamme (Cabral), creating countless cherished memories. Billy is also survived by his son, David Laflamme daughter, Jayme Laflamme. Also celebrated the joys of family, including three grandchildren, Vega; Cheyann and Evander, who were a source of immense pride and joy for Billy. Brother to the late Robert H. Laflamme Jr, survived by brothers Chris Laflamme and Danny Laflamme. Billy devoted his professional life to the construction industry, where his meticulous attention to detail was admired by colleagues and clients alike. His work was not just about building structures; it was about building relationships and leaving a lasting impact on those around him. An active member of the Cercle Laurier, Inc in Woonsocket, Billy was a familiar face in the community, always ready to lend a helping hand. His generous spirit and willingness to do for others were defining features of his personality, endearing him to everyone he met. Billy was an avid NASCAR fan, passionate about the sport's rich history. He delighted in watching nearly every race, sharing his in-depth knowledge with anyone willing to listen. His enthusiasm and love for NASCAR were infectious, bringing people together in shared excitement. In honoring his wishes, a celebration of life will be announced in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, a cause close to his heart. Billy will forever be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
