William “Bill” Taylor

His Life Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee ~ Isaiah 26:3 On August 22, 1934, William “Bill” Taylor was born to the late Arthur Sr, and Christine Taylor. On Monday, August 17, 2026, God, in his intinite wisdom, called his faithful servant to rest. On July 9, 1960, Bill joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Mary E Taylor. Through this union, six children were born. In his early employment years, he worked at McEwen Lumber company, where he drove trucks in Richmond, Virginia. He later worked at Richfood, Incorporation as a receiving clerk and retired in 1995. At an early age, Bill gave his life to Christ. He was a faithful member of Manassa Hill Baptist Church, where he served for many years as Chairman of the Deacon and Trustee board, Superintendent of the Sunday School, and faithful member of the Male Chorus, Senior Choir, and Men's Ministry. Bill’s membership was later moved to Restoration Baptist Church of Amelia, Virginia, where he served in the same capacity. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary E. Taylor, six sisters, and nine brothers. Bill leaves to cherish his love and memories to his three daughters Dorothy Taylor, Julia Taylor and Ida Taylor and three son’s Robert Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Ralph Taylor. Bill was loved by so many to whom he was also like a father. Bill leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
