William 'Bill' Jordan

January 5, 1941 — August 10, 2026

William 'Bill' Jordan, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this world on August 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 5, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, Bill was the beloved son of Edward and Florence Jordan, who preceded him in death, along with his siblings Tom, Larry, and Pat. Bill's life was a testament to love, resilience, and generosity. He was a devoted husband to Cheryl, a proud father to his sons Mike (Theresa) and Dave (Mary), a doting grandfather to Alison (Annie), Daniel (Becky), Ryan and Makenzie and a proud great grandfather to Wyatt, Wells, Rosie, and Dolly. His family was the center of his world, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be treasured by his surviving sister, Marilyn, and the rest of his extended family. Educated at Mendel High School and Villanova University, Bill dedicated his career to the HVAC mechanical industry. As a respected member of the Local 597 Pipefitters union and the owner of JBS Mechanical, he was not only a skilled technician but also a mentor and leader who inspired many in his field. His influence and leadership extended far beyond his professional life, as he was known for his kindness and generosity that touched countless others. Bill had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He delighted in spending time with family and friends, never missing a White Sox opening day, and found solace and joy in the game of golf after relocating to Arizona. His warm spirit and gentle humor made him a beloved figure among all who knew him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff and caregivers from Honor Health, Advanced Health Care of Scottsdale, Blue Lakes Assisted Living, and Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate care and support. A small family and friends service to honor and celebrate Bill's life will be held in the near future with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Bill's memory to organizations that provide support and care for others, continuing his legacy of generosity and kindness. Bill Jordan will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, his enduring strength, and the profound impact he made on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
