June 19, 1946 - June 6, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of William B. Miller, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who departed this life peacefully at his home on June 6, 2026. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 19, 1946, William lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. William was the cherished son of the late Ed and Dora Miller. He was preceded in death by his brothers Prather, Rodgers, Eddie, and Charles Miller, as well as Herbert and Aaron Hicks, and his dear sisters Clara Mae Wilson, Claudia Mae Jackson, Idella Robinson, and Freddie Mae Mallory. Though he has joined them now, his spirit remains forever alive in the memories they shared. Educated at Westfield High School, William's intelligence and work ethic led him to a fulfilling career at Archery Steel Company. Known for his dedication and skill, he was respected and admired by colleagues and friends alike. William was a man of simple pleasures and great passions. A true outdoorsman, he found solace in the wild, embracing the woods with the heart of a country boy. His love for the open road was matched only by his affection for music and dance. Whether riding his bicycle or dancing to the blues, jazz, and rock and roll, William was always the life of the party, bringing joy to every gathering with his infectious energy and warm spirit. A man of impeccable style, William was celebrated for his keen sense of fashion and his signature colognes. His presence was always felt, not only through his vibrant personality but in the way he carried himself with elegance and grace. William leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by his six children: William (Duke), Eric (Bo), Cheryl, Yvette Miller Mccarter (Norman), Tasha Miller, Tosha, and Tyrone (Renita) Schaffer, all residing in Buffalo, New York. His memory will live on through his 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor his life through their own stories and achievements. In this time of sorrow, the Miller family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, calls, cards, visits, and acts of kindness. Your support has been a source of comfort and strength as we navigate this profound loss. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor William's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to pay tribute to William's life do so by embracing the joy he found in nature, music, and the love of family and friends. William B. Miller's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and resilience. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. ~The Family~
