William A. Walker

Our beloved William Arthur Walker was born on March 21, 1949 to Curley Lee and Mary Sue Walker in Pacoima CA. Growing up in Pacoima he attended San Fernando High School where he dated his high school sweetheart, Theresa Williams, whom he later married. This union beget 2 daughters. The relationship ended. However he did find his life partner, Dean, with whom he had a long term relationship resulting in 3 bonus sons and another from their union. He also informally adopted several children with whom he developed fatherly bonds. William held a variety of jobs throughout his life time however his career was family. In his youth he played football, which he passed along to his grandson. He was also top ranked as a “Golden Glove” boxer. William was best known for his loving caring heart and empathy for others. He was always there to help whenever he felt he was needed. Least not we forget his affinity with cars and motorcycles as he held an extensive collection over his lifetime. He was proceeded in death by both parents, his sister Louise, 4 nephews: Eric, Chris, Kenny and Kevin and his first partner, Theresa. William is survived by his final life partner Dean, his children, Latrice, Lanisha, William II, Apollo, Paul and Eric. His brother Harold, 3 sisters Barbara Walker, Lucille Alfred and Marion Walker. 6 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and cherished loved ones. Please remember although William is no longer with us in presence he will never leave us in spirit. God bless one and all.
