Theresa W. Bartholomew Barthelemy

Theresa, Our Beautiful Mother, a cherished soul whose warmth and generosity touched the hearts of all who knew her, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026. With her Children, Grandchildren & other family member there. Born on August 5, 1939, in the city of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Theresa was the beloved daughter of Emily Dinet and Walter Bartholomew, who preceded her in death. Theresa was Married to the Late Charles P. Barthelemy Sr. Theresa lived most of her life in Buras, LA, raised in Bohemia and Diamond, LA Theresa's life was a testament to resilience and love. She dedicated her career to the culinary arts, sharing her passion and talent as a cook for Big League and later at Camp Seafood, where she worked until Hurricane Katrina devastated Buras. Her cooking was more than just a profession; it was her way of bringing people together, nourishing both body and soul with her delicious meals and kind heart. Family was the cornerstone of Wilamena's life. She is survived by her devoted children: Jessica (Timmy) St Ann, Tammy (Slick) Duplessis, Charles (Treesa) Barthelemy, and Danny (Penny) Barthelemy. Her legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren: Joseph (Jennifer) St Ann, Jonathan, Josh (Meagan) St Ann, Jena St Ann, Eric (Julie) Duplessis, Nathalie (Jose) Salter, Rockey (Chaz) Duplessis, Heather (Corey) Roberts, Michelle Barthelemy, Heidi Barthelemy, Danny Jr (RaeLyn) Barthelemy& Paige Barthelemy. 18 Great-Grandchildren & 7 Bonus Great-Grandchildren. 2 Sister-in Laws Lucy(Arlene) Barthelemy & Ruby Rodi. & 7 God Children. Each of them carries forward her spirit in their own unique ways, embodying her strength, kindness, and generosity. Theresa proceeds in death with 3 Brothers: Walter(Butch) Barthelemy, Nicholas(Nick) Bartholomew and Phil Bartholomew and 1 Beautiful Sister Mildred Delta (Blue) Sylve . 2 Bonus Great-Grandchildren Jeremiah & Noel and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Adelyn & Ayden. Theresa's life will be celebrated with a service at St Patrick Church on November 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to honor her beautiful life and the love she shared with everyone around her. I want to thank Ms. Brenda mom's roommate for watching over her, i also want thank River Bend & Harmony Hospices. I want to give a Special Thanks to Denise Espadron, Erica, Tisha, DaDa ,Jade & Dixie for all the kindness they show & for taking good care of my Mother. River Bend these ladies JOB WELL DONE!
