In Loving Memory
WM
wife, mother, sister
August 20, 1941 — June 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and cherished friend. Born on August 20, 1941, in the close-knit community of Clearwater, Nebraska, she left us peacefully on June 2, 2026, after a short illness due to complications. Her departure marks the end of an era for her family and friends, who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.
She was a pillar of strength and love in the Singleton family, the devoted wife of Ross Singleton, with whom she shared a profound and enduring bond. A nurturing mother to Eddie Wilson, Keith Wilson (Jodi), Cindy Henderson (Destry), and Bill Singleton, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support. Her nurturing spirit extended to her eight grandchildren—Shanna Wilson, Krista Wilson, Kasie Wilson, Kristopher Wilson, Tyler Corber, Caitlin Taylor, Isak Singleton—and two great-grandchildren, Kyson Wilson and Skyler Ryan, who will carry forward her memory.
Preceded in death by her loving parents, Joyce and Eddie Irwin, she now joins them in eternal rest. She is survived by her siblings, who were her lifelong companions and confidants: Patty Jo Reed, Rickie Irwin, Mickie Dressler, and Vickie Reed. Their enduring sibling bond was a testament to the strength of family ties, enriched by countless memories shared over the years. Her life was also touched by numerous nieces and nephews, who added joy and laughter to her journey.
Throughout her life, she was an industrious and compassionate woman, embodying the spirit of service and dedication. Her career saw her working in several local restaurants, as a talented manicurist, and as a co-owner of the beloved Shoetique. Her commitment to service extended to her community, where she volunteered tirelessly at the Fairchild Medical Center, and her radiant smile could be seen brightening the days of many at the Rescue Ranch Thrift Shop.
Family was the cornerstone of her life, and she reveled in the warmth of large family gatherings, where laughter and love were in abundance. She delighted in the simple joys of life—dancing, fishing, and the family’s traditional Father’s Day camping trips. Her adventurous spirit occasionally led her to enjoy a little gambling, where she embraced the thrill of the unknown with a twinkle in her eye.
As we remember her, we are reminded of her boundless love and the vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and the joy of living life to the fullest.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Rescue Ranch Thrift Shop, a place that held much meaning for her and where her spirit of generosity will continue to inspire others.
She leaves a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and sustain her family and friends. Her presence in our lives was a gift, and her memory will forever be cherished.
