It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Wesley Michael Clayton, who departed this world peacefully on March 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with kidney disease. Born on March 2, 1974, in El Paso, Texas, Wesley's life was a testament to love, service, and dedication. Wesley was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose heart of gold touched the lives of many. A man of unwavering integrity and strength, he was a beacon of light for his family and community. He is profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Wesley's life was marked by his service to his country and community. As a proud US Navy and Gulf War veteran, he embodied the spirit of courage and sacrifice. His dedication to service extended beyond his military career; he served as a Corporal in the Anthony, Texas Police Department, where his commitment to justice and safety was evident to all. Later, he continued his service with the Dona Ana County Codes Department, where his meticulous work and attention to detail left a lasting impact. Family was the cornerstone of Wesley's life. He shared a deep and enduring love with his family, offering them guidance and support throughout his lifetime. He was a devoted husband and a proud father who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Wesley was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Devon Salazar, whose memory he carried with him always. In addition to his dedication to family and service, Wesley was known for his kindness, his infectious smile, and his ability to make those around him feel valued and cherished. He had a remarkable capacity for empathy and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Wesley's family will honor his life and legacy in a private ceremony, cherishing the memories of his generous spirit and the love he shared with them. Though he is no longer with us, Wesley's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched and the lives he changed for the better. He will be greatly missed by his wife Bea of 25 years, his children and grandchildren; where his memory will forever remain a guiding light for us all.
