Wendy Llanda Dela Cruz

February 16, 1963 — May 16, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Llanda Dela Cruz, who peacefully departed from this world on May 16, 2026, at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with a rare form of lymphoma. Wendy was a beacon of strength and grace, whose light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched. Wendy was born on February 16, 1963, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines, to her loving parents, the late Julia and Ed Adriano Dela Cruz. She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her cherished niece Makayla Farley and nephew Bryan Lee. Though her departure leaves a significant void, Wendy's legacy will be lovingly carried on by her devoted husband, Andrew Robbins, whom she married in a beautiful ceremony in New York City in 2008. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Wendy is survived by her beloved children, her daughter Sabrina Farley-Reyes and her son William Robbins, who were her greatest pride and joy. She was a doting grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren: Hannie Rogers, Mylo Reyes, and Nico Reyes, who brought immense happiness and vitality to her life. Her familial bonds extended to her siblings, including her sisters Rebecca Tiongco and Adelia Dela Cruz-Lee, and her brothers Adriano Dela Cruz, Jr., Arnold Dela Cruz, Rico Dela Cruz, and Jefferson Dela Cruz. Each of them shared a unique and irreplaceable connection with Wendy, one that was rooted in a shared history and an unbreakable love. Wendy's professional life was a testament to her adventurous spirit and unwavering dedication. She was a proud and diligent Flight Attendant for United Airlines for many years. Her love of travel and exploration took her to distant corners of the world, and she cherished each opportunity to discover new cultures and meet diverse people. Wendy had an uncanny ability to make strangers feel like old friends, and she brought color and friendship wherever she went. Her endless charm and warm disposition left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Those who knew Wendy will remember her as a bright light, a woman who was smart, beautiful, and fiercely loyal. Her ability to talk to anyone and make them feel seen and heard was a rare gift, one that she shared generously throughout her life. A celebration of Wendy's life will be held on June 8, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Chapel of the Highlands, located at 194 Millwood Avenue, Millbrae, CA 94030. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wendy's memory to the Hematologic Malignancies Research Institute - City of Hope or the American Cancer Society, organizations dedicated to finding cures and supporting those affected by cancer. Wendy Llanda Dela Cruz will be dearly missed but forever remembered. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories and the joy she brought into our lives, knowing that her legacy of love and light will endure.
