Wendell McKelvin Young

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved family member, Wendell McKelvin Young. Wendell McKelvin Young was born on May 15, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Wendell M.Young Sr. and Delores C. Young and grew being the only child to that union. Throughout his life, he enjoyed activities such as Skating, Tennis, and Football. Wendell Jr. ( always called by “Young” throughout his cousins “Dawson’s”:)🤷🏽‍♀️. passionate about the techniques of skating with his cousins every weekend and football throughout his high school years and college_. They had a strong sense of and a great sense of __. People who knew them would describe them as _. They were known for their . They had a kind heart that was always open to . They were generous with their _. They brought much joy to our lives through _. They were always willing to help out whenever needed. We will miss their presence in our lives, as well as their __. A service will be held on August 1, 2026 at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice. We are deeply saddened by this loss. Our hearts go out to those close to them. We remember the beautiful person that they were and take solace in knowing that they are now at peace. Rest in peace, Wendell McKelvin Young.
