December 12, 1971 — April 1, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the peaceful passing of Wende V. Times, a cherished soul whose light graced this world on December 12, 1971, and gently dimmed on April 1, 2026. Born in the warm community of North Charleston, SC, Wende's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication. Wende was the beloved daughter of Cassenia B. Times and Norman Little, who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance that she carried throughout her life. She was a proud alumnus of North Charleston High, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime and laid the foundation for her remarkable journey. Professionally, Wende found her niche as a skilled Fork Lifter Driver, contributing her talents to various companies over the years. Her commitment and work ethic were admired by colleagues and employers alike, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Family was the cornerstone of Wende’s life, and she was a devoted mother to her cherished daughter, Diamond. Her role as a mother was one she embraced with an open heart and boundless love. Wende's legacy continues through her two treasured grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom, stories, and joyous spirit. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Paul Luke Times Jr., alongside a close-knit extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends who became family. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the aroma of her favorite meals shared with loved ones. Wende's gentle nature and compassionate spirit touched all who knew her. She possessed an innate ability to lift spirits and offer comfort, always ready with a sincere smile and a listening ear. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she thrived on helping others, be it through small acts of kindness or grand gestures of support. Her passing leaves a void that words cannot fill, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved. As we gather to remember and celebrate Wende's life, we are reminded of the enduring impact of her kindness and the joy she brought to everyone around her. A memorial service will be held to honor Wende’s extraordinary life and to share stories of a woman who taught us the meaning of love and humanity. While the world feels a little dimmer without her, we find solace in knowing that her light continues to shine brightly in the lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity close to Wende's heart, ensuring her legacy of compassion continues to benefit others. May Wende V. Times rest in eternal peace, her spirit soaring freely, forever remembered and cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.
