April 15, 1967 — July 13, 2026

Wayne Oliver Lundebo, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with illness. Born on April 15, 1967, in Virginia Beach, VA, Wayne was the beloved son of Ann Lundebo and the late Leonard Lundebo. Throughout his life, Wayne embodied kindness, generosity, and an unwavering spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him. A graduate of Oglethorpe County High School in 1985, Wayne was known for his quick wit and warm smile, a gift that made everyone around him feel loved and valued. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. His kindness and generosity were the hallmarks of his character, and his legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Wayne married his childhood sweetheart, Faythe Clark, on July 14, 1990. Together, they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage, raising three beautiful daughters—Victoria, Amber, and Savanna—and building a life filled with love and laughter. Wayne's devotion to his family was unparalleled, and he found immense joy in spending time with his children and seven adored grandchildren: Adilynn, Eleanor, Scarlett, Edith, Amelia, David and Johnny. They were truly the center of his world. Wayne had a passion for discovering hidden treasures while shopping for antiques and reveled in the thrill of ghost tours. These interests, combined with his zest for life and warm-hearted nature, created endless cherished memories for those around him. He is survived by his loving wife, Faythe; his devoted daughters and their spouses, Victoria and Adam Clark, Amber and Micheal Greene, and Savanna and John Gibbs; his cherished grandchildren; his mother, Ann Lundebo; and his siblings, David and Adam (Jodi). Wayne was predeceased by his father, Leonard Lundebo. In honor of Wayne's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and legacy. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Wayne's memory to a charity of your choice. Wayne Oliver Lundebo will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to know him. His life was a testament to love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family.
