In loving memory of Warren Richard-Larsh Jordan, who peacefully departed this world on February 12, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by the comforting walls of his home in Pulaski, Virginia. Born on July 1, 1945, Warren was a cherished son of this tight-knit community, where he first took his breath and where he spent his final days, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unyielding dedication.
Warren's life was a testament to the virtues of hard work, resilience, and an unyielding spirit. A man of the land, he embarked on his journey in ranching at the age of 45, a passion that would define his life for over three decades. His profound knowledge of cattle and horses was renowned, and his ranch was not just a place of work but a haven of learning and love, especially for his beloved grandchildren. There, he imparted his wisdom and instilled in them an appreciation for farm life and the animals he held dear.
In 1967, Warren married the love of his life, Darlene Jones, embarking on a journey that would see them share countless adventures, joys, and challenges. Together, they cultivated a life enriched with love, humor, and devotion. Their partnership was a beacon of strength and tenderness, one that inspired all who knew them.
Warren was a man of many passions. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from riding horses across the open fields to tending to his apple tree garden, where he delighted in collecting apples, savoring the fruits of his labor. His love for Bingo nights and Disney movies brought endless joy and laughter to family gatherings, where his kind-hearted nature and infectious sense of humor shone brightly.
He is survived by his loving children, Kimberly Asnicar - Neece, Susan L. Higgins, Joseph L. Jordan II, and Keith Asnicar, who continue to carry his legacy forward. His cherished grandchildren, Gracie Neece, Daniella Asnicar, and Cheyenne Jordan, who were the light of his life, will forever remember the warmth of his embrace and the lessons he imparted with gentle wisdom. Though he did not live to see great-grandchildren, his spirit and lessons will endure in the stories shared by his family.
The family will honor Warren's life in a private ceremony on February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM, a time set aside to reflect on the beautiful life he led and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him.
In this time of sorrow, Warren’s family wishes to share a special message: "Even though you are no longer with us, your kindness, love, and beautiful memories will forever remain in our hearts. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten."
