Warren Cormican
June 14, 1942 — March 11, 2026
Warren Cormican, a devoted family man, skilled craftsman, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on June 14, 1942, in the serene town of Dover, Tennessee, Warren was the beloved son of the late Marion Devon and Rosetta Irene. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him.
Warren's journey began in the halls of Stewart County High School, where he cultivated a keen interest in mechanics that would lay the foundation for a lifelong career. His hands were never idle, as he diligently worked at the Standard Service Station in Dover, TN, before moving on to the Damon Trailer Factory in Nashville, TN. His entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when he established Cormican Well Service, where his reputation for honesty and exceptional service earned him the respect and admiration of his community.
In 1985, Warren's life was forever enriched when he married his beloved Judy L. Bochantine on a warm September day in their hometown of Dover. Together, they built a loving home that became the heart of their large, blended family. Warren's gentle nature and wise counsel were a beacon of stability and love for his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Warren is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Cormican, who stood by his side through life's many seasons. His legacy is carried forward by his cherished children: daughters Millie Baker and her husband, Bill, of Plymouth, IN, and Anne Andrews of Tippecanoe, IN; son Marion L. Cormican and his wife, Casey, of Tippecanoe; step-daughters Bridget Andrews of Culver, and Tabitha Smith and her husband, Chris, of Monterey, IN; and stepson Michael E. Andrews Jr. of Monterey. Warren was the proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
His family roots extended to his siblings, where he shared an enduring bond with his three sisters, Leona Kreft and her husband, Paul of Warsaw, Carrie Hunter and her husband, Steve of Rochester, and June Murray of Muncie, as well as his brother, Glen Cormican of South Bend.
Warren's life will be celebrated in a service held at Cross Point Church, 299 Cowan St, Nashville, TN, on March 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and community.
While our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find solace in knowing that Warren's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
