Born in Lexington, North Carolina, on February 24, 1948, Wanda graced this world with 78 years of kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Wanda was the beloved daughter of Harvey and Gladys Martin, and she grew up alongside her siblings, Barbara Jean Welch and Larry Martin, who have all predeceased her. Their memories continued to inspire Wanda throughout her life, shaping her into the compassionate woman so many knew and loved. In a love story that spanned over six decades, Wanda married Carl Max Lambeth on November 24, 1965. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, raising their two children, Scott and Shannon. Wanda's unwavering support and devotion were the cornerstone of their family, and her legacy lives on in her children, Scott Lambeth and his wife Jennifer, and Shannon Morris and her husband Tim. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Cindy Nicula, and her husband Jim. Wanda was a proud and loving grandmother to four grandchildren: Zack (Brooke) Lambeth, Erin Wahlers (Ryan), Matthew Morris, and Andrew Morris. Each grandchild brought immense joy to Wanda's life, and she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting their dreams, creating memories that will be treasured forever. A woman of remarkable dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, Wanda co-owned a clothing store in Archdale with her sister, Cindy. Her most enduring professional achievement, however, was her role as an invaluable partner in her husband's business, Archdale Realty & Homebuilders, where she worked tirelessly to create homes filled with love and warmth for countless families. Wanda's faith was an integral part of her life. She was an active member of CID United Methodist Church before attending Poplar Ridge Friends, where her compassionate spirit found a welcoming home. Her kindness and generosity were evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Wanda's life will be held on July 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Poplar Ridge Friends, located at 3673 Hoover Hill Rd in Trinity, NC. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Wanda's memory and share in her legacy of love and kindness.
