Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Margret and Dean Boyd. Wanda's early years were spent in Dayton, where she graduated from Dunbar High School. Her passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling career as a nutritionist at the Dayton VA, where she worked diligently for 35 years. Her commitment to the well-being of veterans and her colleagues was admired by many and left a lasting impact on those she served. A devoted mother, Wanda is survived by her beloved children: sons Darrell and Darren Boyd, and daughters Tasha, Brianna, Dionne, Arianne, and Onya. Her legacy of love and compassion extends to her nine grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into her life. Wanda will be remembered for her unwavering strength, kindness, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make each person feel valued and loved, whether through her wise counsel, her ready smile, or her generous spirit. Though Wanda has left this earthly realm, her love and light continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Wanda's life and the indelible mark she left on the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wanda's memory to the American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer Fund, a cause dear to her heart. Her legacy of compassion and care will continue to support those in need through these contributions. Wanda Johnson's life was a testament to love, dedication, and service.
