Wanda J. Keyhea
August 24, 1951 — May 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude that we announce the passing of our beloved Wanda J. Keyhea, who left this world on May 3, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on August 24, 1951, in Los Angeles, CA, Wanda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Lela Mae Jones and George Andrews and was predeceased by her beloved brothers Norris and Donell, sister Carolyn, and her dear son Walter. Despite the pain of these losses, Wanda's spirit remained unbroken, and she continued to be a beacon of warmth and light to her family and friends.
Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of community. Wanda was known far and wide for her quick wit and radiant smile, traits that endeared her to everyone she met. Whether it was through a silly dance, a humorous joke, or a playful statement, Wanda had an extraordinary ability to lift spirits and bring joy into the lives of those around her. Her home was a haven where everyone felt welcome and valued, a testament to her generous heart and inclusive nature.
Wanda's life was enriched by her marriage to her devoted husband, Samuel Keyhea, with whom she shared countless precious moments and adventures since they wed on February 20, 2002. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed by the love of their daughter Nastasha and her husband, Marquise. Wanda's legacy of love continues through her surviving siblings, Yvonne, Ydren, and Yvette, and Gwen as well as her grandchildren Tanisha, Ashley, Kiana, Khalilah, Kenneth, Khayla, Karishma, Jeremiah, Zelaya, Lamarr. As well as a host of nieces and nephews. A circle of close friends who were as dear to her as family.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Riverside Community Hospital, whose care and kindness provided immense comfort during Wanda's final days.
Wanda's memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we say goodbye, we remember her life with love and celebrate the joy she brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Wanda's memory by performing an act of kindness in her name, spreading the warmth and generosity that she so effortlessly shared with the world.
May Wanda J. Keyhea rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love she so abundantly gave.
