It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on October 14, 2026, after a courageous battle. Wanda's journey began on August 1, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, where she was born to George and Ruby Hagood. She was raised in a Christian home. As a girl, she spent Summers in Vacation Bible School at Messiah Baptist Church where she was later baptized. Wanda was a vibrant soul whose life was marked by kindness, love, and an unwavering spirit. She was predeceased by her father, George Albert Hagood, her sister Dolores, her first husband John Wingate, and her brother-in-law Aaron Legion. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Joe Kyles, her loving mother Ruby, and her cherished siblings George, Keena, Darlette (Jerry), Patrice (Mark), and Maurice (Nichole). Wanda's legacy also lives on in a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her. Wanda and Bobby shared a profound love, marrying in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas, NV. Their shared passions for movies, casino visits, and dining out created beautiful memories that will be treasured forever. Bobby remained steadfast by Wanda's side throughout her illness, exemplifying the deep bond they shared. "Love you forever"- Bobby A proud graduate of Mumford High School, class of 1982, Wanda pursued her passion for beauty by completing cosmetology school. Her profession as a hairstylist allowed her to touch the lives of many with her talent and creativity. Her warm personality and people skills also made her a standout in retail sales, where she consistently excelled, earning high commissions and tips. Wanda's dedication to her clients was evident until her health necessitated retirement from retail sales. Wanda's love for the Lord was evident in her worship at Greater Grace Temple and Word of Faith International Christian Center. She found joy in dancing, listening to music, and was an avid moviegoer who never passed up on popcorn. Her family was her heart, and she cherished spending time with them, especially during the cherished sister day out retreats with her mother and sisters. Wanda was indeed everyone's favorite Auntie, known for spoiling her nieces and nephews and showing immense love and care for her mother's well-being. "Loving U always" - Mom Her bubbly personality, warm smile, and captivating eyes left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Wanda was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity. As we remember Wanda, we find comfort in the words of James 1:12: "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." Wanda's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain with us. May she rest in peace and her soul be eternity with the Lord.
