Wanda Faye Hill

Wanda Faye Hill, a beloved resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2026. Born on July 13, 1956, in Rock Hill, Wanda was the cherished daughter of Clyde Hill Jr. and Faye Margaret Shugart Hill. Wanda dedicated her life to caring for others, serving many years as a compassionate nursing home assistant at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living in Rock Hill, where she later retired. Her gentle and sweet nature touched the lives of many residents and colleagues, leaving a legacy of kindness and empathy that will not be forgotten. A devoted member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Wanda lived her faith in everyday actions, sharing her warmth and love with everyone she encountered. Her hobbies included a profound love for her feline companions, who brought her endless joy and comfort. Wanda is survived by her brother, Cliffton Hill of Lesslie, SC; her stepfather, Paul Faile of Lesslie, SC; her aunts, Shelby Moore of Rock Hill, SC, Nancy Hill of Jacksonville, FL, and Connie Shugart of Lesslie, SC; and her lifelong best friend, Ruthie Bonds of Atlanta, GA. Wanda was a beacon of love and support to her family and friends, always ready with a listening ear and a kind word. A service to celebrate Wanda's life will be held on November 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Following the service, interment will take place at Friendship UMC Church Cemetery at 1917 Old Friendship Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730. In honor of Wanda's loving spirit, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
