Wanda Antonette Creasy, fondly known as AJ, was born on May 11, 2026, in Brevard, North Carolina, and passed away on October 6, 2026. AJ’s life was a beautiful testament to her unwavering faith and her boundless compassion for others. She carried herself with grace and humility, embodying the virtues of patience and generosity. Her steadfast love for God was the guiding light in her life, inspiring her every action and illuminating the lives of those around her. AJ is survived by her loving husband, Greg Creasy, and their cherished children, Matthew Phillips, Haley Phillips, Hunter Creasy, Justin Creasy, and Adam Creasy. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in nurturing and supporting them in every way she could. Her spirit was one of kindness and warmth, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. AJ would gladly give the shoes off her feet to someone in need, a testament to her selfless nature and deep empathy. Her favorite Bible verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" was a reflection of her belief in the transformative power of faith and love. AJ lived her life by these words, continually striving to bring hope and renewal to those she encountered. A memorial service to honor AJ’s life will be held on October 13, 2026, at Parkway Baptist Church, located at 2168 Coachman Drive, Roanoke, VA 54012. The service will begin at 11:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and celebrating the remarkable life AJ led. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests making a donation to a charity of your choice, a gesture that would reflect AJ’s spirit of giving and her dedication to helping others. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and prayers during this time of sorrow.
