In Loving Memory

Walter Bujak
May 1, 1945 — October 25, 2026
Walter Bujak, a devoted family man and steadfast optimist, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on May 1, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Walter was the cherished son of Walter and Patricia Bujak
His life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, a keen interest in home improvement, the occasional prankster and a drive in life that inspired all who knew him.
Walter shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sharon Bujak, who predeceased him. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising two children, Dawn M. Bujak and Walter Ray Bujak. Family was always Walter's priority, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His legacy of love and positivity will endure through his children and his brother, Richard Bujak.
A retired employee of General Motors, Walter took immense pride in his work and carried this ethos into his personal life. He and Sharon enjoyed remodeling and updating their homes, a shared passion that showcased his impressive skills in being able to build just about anything and especially his electrical and plumbing abilities. Walter's enthusiasm for the outdoors was infectious; he loved swimming and embarked on numerous family vacations, creating cherished memories along the way. His fascination with aviation meant he could often be found watching planes and helicopters take off and land near their home, a simple pleasure that brought him great joy.
Walter was known for his glass-half-full outlook on life. He never complained and possessed a natural ability to uplift those around him with his positive attitude.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate both Walter and Sharons lives and legacies where their ashes will be scattered. The family suggests that those who wish to honor Walter's memory consider planting a tree.
Walter's life was a testament to the power of positivity, love, and family. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
