Wallace White, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, peacefully departed this life on April 14, 2026, at the age of 86 at his cherished home. Born on June 20, 1939, in the modest town of Shaw, Mississippi, Wallace was the cherished son of the late Earl and Ruby (Weeks) White. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Junior (Emma Jean) White, Orville White, Jimmy White, and sister Dorothy White Skelton (Carl Ray).
Wallace's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and service. He was a proud alumnus of Lee University, where he was actively involved with the Pioneers of Christ. Wallace's ministry was not just a vocation but a calling, one that he embraced wholeheartedly as he guided countless individuals in their spiritual journeys, always with compassion and humility.
On December 21, 1962, Wallace married the love of his life, Linda, in Leaf, Mississippi. Their marriage spanned an incredible 62 years, a union filled with love, mutual respect, and shared adventures. Wallace was blessed with three grandchildren, Ashley Sanamo (Brett), Joshua Warren (Ellie), and Sean Jensen (Emma), and seven great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. His eyes would light up with joy at the mere mention of their names, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and endeavors.
A man of many interests, Wallace's early passion for sports, especially football and basketball, remained a fond memory throughout his life. He found solace in nature, often seeking the tranquility of hunting and fishing, where he could reflect amidst the beauty of creation. His love for travel, particularly to the mountains with Linda, was a source of cherished memories that enriched their lives together.
