Together, Wallace and Sandra built a family filled with love and laughter, raising their children Andrew, Heidi, Stacey, and Julie, who, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, continue to carry forward his legacy. Wallace spent many years at Amberwood Nursing Home, where he became a pillar of the community, forming deep bonds with both staff and residents. Known for his remarkable memory for dates, he never missed a chance to celebrate others, always remembering birthdays and special occasions. His talent for storytelling and his penchant for sharing a good joke made him a delightful companion to all who knew him. Wallace had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued, and his kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Though his passing leaves a profound void, the love Wallace shared continues to resonate through his family and friends. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff at Amberwood, especially Rebecca, whose compassionate care brought comfort and joy to Wallace in his final years. In accordance with Wallace's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor his life and legacy. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, acts of kindness be performed in his memory to continue his legacy of generosity and love. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, let us remember him for his laughter, his stories, and his unyielding love for those around him. Wallace G. Zimmerman may have left this physical world, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of warmth and kindness. "Forever in our hearts."
