Wade Phillips, a beloved son, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 6, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on October 6, 1957, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Wade lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and dedication to those he loved.
Wade was a cherished member of his community, known affectionately by many as "Country." He had an innate ability to bring joy to everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression with his gentle spirit and infectious smile. Throughout his life, Wade touched the lives of countless individuals, always offering a helping hand or a kind word to those in need.
Wade was the proud father of his child, Shawade P., who survives him. His family and friends will forever remember Wade’s unwavering love and the special bond he shared with those closest to him. He was a beacon of light, providing strength and support to his loved ones.
A memorial service to celebrate Wade's life will be held on September 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM at EStep Brother, located at 1300 Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD 21217. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Wade touched are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the legacy he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Wade Phillips.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this difficult time.
