Wade Hamilton Boone
November 16, 1968 — October 14, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Wade Hamilton Boone, who left this world on October 14, 2026. Wade was born on November 16, 1968, in Alamance County, NC, to the late Robert and Barbara Boone. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Wade touched the lives of those around him with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Wade was a devoted husband to Michelle Boone, who stood by his side through every season of life. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Wade's legacy is carried on by his beloved children, Heather Birchett and her husband Joseph, Tracey Boone, and Crystal Boone and her partner Joseph Poe. His heart was further warmed by the joy of his grandchildren: Kinley, Hunter, Madyson, Hailey, Haven, Savannah, Cooper, and Ella. Each grandchild brought a unique light to Wade's life, and he took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive.
Wade was also a cherished brother to Darlene Garcia, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and a deep sibling bond. Though predeceased by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law, Gilda and Rickey Norton, Wade's spirit remains a guiding force for those he leaves behind.
Wade's life will be honored in a memorial service on October 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of a man whose generosity and kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
In lieu of flowers, if you feel the calling to donate you can donate directly to Wade's widow, Michelle Boone. She was his sole full time caregiver, which did not allow her to work; while also dealing with her own health issues. The couple did not have health or life insurance and she is not eligble to draw from Wade's disability. Any donations made will go directly to Michelle, to help her with living expenses until she is able to get on her feet again.
Though Wade's physical presence is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and the values he instilled will continue to thrive in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered and celebrated.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Wade Hamilton Boone welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
