He is also survived by his siblings, Stanley Harris Jr. and his wife Nadia, Daniel Harris Sr., Ronald Harris Sr. and his wife Patricia, Shawn Gessler, and sister Kimberly Bates and many nieces and nephews and cousins. His thirst for knowledge and spiritual growth further guided him to Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, where he attained a Certificate of License to preach. His professional life was marked by his dedication as a Software Engineer and Developer.
A proud veteran, Waddell served his country with honor in the Army for six years. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career, as he became an active member of Redeemer's Heart Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and previously attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Waddell's passions were as diverse as they were profound. He achieved the rank of second-degree Black Belt in Karate, a pursuit that exemplified his discipline and perseverance. His love for the church and his community was unparalleled, and he was known for sharing his faith with everyone he encountered.
A service to honor Waddell's life will be held on October 10, 2026 with Pastor Mike Golden officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
