Virginia's life was rich with love and family. She leaves behind her cherished son Columbus Rhodes and daughter-in-law Elnora Rhodes, who were the center of her world a. Her legacy is carried forward by her four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored immensely. Among her extended family, she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, Larry, Denise, and Rickey, as well as her great-nieces and nephews Rickey Jr., Jacqueline, Romello, GiAnna, and Max. Throughout her career in hotel services, Virginia was known for her impeccable attention to detail, ensuring that each guest experienced the comfort of home. Her dedication and warm personality left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A woman of deep faith, Virginia embraced the Lord as her savior later in life and was a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Boston alongside her sister. She found solace and joy in her faith, often reminding others that "we're in God's hands." Virginia had a passion for tending to her flowers and cherished the moments spent with her niece Denise and her children. Her quick wit and humor were hallmarks of her personality, always ready with a comical response that brought laughter to those around her. Her deep love for family and friends was evident, especially in her fondness for Benjy, whose caring nature touched her profoundly. A service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Davis Funeral Home in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
