With deep sadness and profound respect, we announce the passing of Virginia "Gina" Abrams, who peacefully departed this life on June 29, 2026, surrounded by her children and her beloved partner, Bobby. Born on October 8, 1961, in California, Gina was a beacon of warmth and love to all who knew her.
Daughter of the late Thomas Garcia and Dora Montez, Gina was blessed with a family that cherished her vibrancy and kindness. She was predeceased by her mother Dora Montez, her brothers Mario and Vincent Perez, Richard Garcia, and her beloved son-in-law Keith Sexton. Despite these losses, Gina carried her family's legacy forward, embodying resilience and grace.
Gina is survived by her devoted partner, Bobby Fore, who stood by her side through life's many seasons. She leaves behind her loving children: Brandy Sexton, Nancy and Chad Landreth, and Josh and Amanda Abrams, who will continue to honor her memory with the strength and compassion she instilled in them. Her brother, Thomas Garcia, also survives her, along with her grandchildren David, Jadeyn, Mariah Woods, Emily Hopkins, Evan and Jace Abrams, Mauricio Young, Isabella, Adelina, Liliana, Jammie Landreth and Miranda Blackburn. Along with her nine adored great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
For many years, Gina dedicated herself to her work as a housekeeper, where her meticulous attention to detail and friendly demeanor made her a cherished member of every household she served. Outside of work, Gina's true passions came alive. She had a remarkable talent for cooking, always ensuring that her loved ones were nourished with both food and warmth. A dedicated crafter, Gina loved sharing her handmade dream catchers and earrings along with other creations with everyone, a testament to her generous spirit. Her love for the great outdoors was evident in her fondness for camping and fishing, activities she shared with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Gina's radiant smile and open heart made her a friend to all, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A pot luck style luncheon will be held at her celebration of life on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Taft Moose Lodge, located at 205 1/2 South 10th St. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Gina are invited to attend, share memories, and honor a truly remarkable woman.
Gina Abrams will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
