Virdie Faye Clark

September 2, 1970 — February 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for her life that we announce the passing of Virdie Faye Clark, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Faye departed this world on February 27, 2026, at the age of 55, in the loving company of her family, concluding a courageous battle with COPD emphysema and metastatic cancer. Her departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew her. Born on September 2, 1970, in Roanoke, Virginia, Faye was the cherished daughter of Janice (Memaw) and Joseph Lane (Papa), who predeceased her, along with her infant daughter Randy Jo; Aunt Joyce; cousins Gary Lane (Wayne) and Charles Stephens (Chuckie); as well as family friends Marvin Thomas and Jimmy Handley. Faye was a beacon of love and strength, married to her devoted husband Jeff Clark since 2001. They shared a beautiful life together, filled with love and laughter, raising their children and creating countless cherished memories. Her children, Frankie, Sean (Billie), Priscilla, Nicole, Noah, and Jenny, were the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren, Nova, Nya, Evan, Eric, Makayla, and Kamryne, and her three great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit and values. Faye is also survived by her siblings Frank (Theresa), Pam, and Rhonda, and her nieces and nephews Destiny, Halle, Taylor, Terry, and Blade, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her extended family, including Tracy Parker (Talbot) and her "latest" Dusty Bubba and Tanya Handley, were a testament to the enduring friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Faye was a woman of simple pleasures and profound loves. She found joy in the small moments, whether watching wrestling or her favorite crime shows or spending time by the lake with her dear friend Dusty. Her weekends were often filled with the boisterous laughter of family gatherings, barbecues, and the thrill of races and football games. Faye had a remarkable ability to forge connections and create a sense of belonging, and she would have moved mountains for her family. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported Faye in her final months and days. Your presence and love were a source of immense comfort to her and those she held dear. In the words of her family, "A big thank you to everyone that was there in her final months/days leading up to her passing." As we remember Faye, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
