Violet Mildred Wright (nee Gariepy)

Violet Mildred Wright (nee Gariepy), a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, gently departed this world on July 24, 2026, in the comforting presence of her son, Daniel. Born on June 7, 1953, in Titusville, Pennsylvania, Violet was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. The daughter of the late Charles Gariepy Sr. and Twila Barker Hopkins, Violet was predeceased by her cherished siblings, brothers Charles Jr. (Butch), Guy, Arthur, and sister Jean. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on through her surviving family, including her devoted sons, Daniel Gariepy of Titusville, Pennsylvania, and Mark Gariepy of Rock City, Wyoming. Her grandchildren, Autumn and Austin of Wesleyville, Pennsylvania, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, will carry forward her spirit with fond memories. Violet's professional journey was as varied as it was fulfilling, having retired from a multitude of career paths in both factory and restaurant work. Her industrious nature and commitment to hard work were admired by many, yet it was her adventurous spirit that truly defined her life. Violet had a profound love for travel and embraced the great outdoors with activities such as sightseeing, camping, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. A woman of remarkable generosity, Violet was known for her kind-hearted nature and her unwavering dedication to family and friends. Her selflessness and warmth endeared her to many, and she will be fondly remembered as a caring and devoted mother and grandmother, as well as a steadfast friend. In honoring Violet's life, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion. A memorial service will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends the opportunity to gather and celebrate her remarkable life.
